Codify Yo is the in-house AI agent we built to compress migration delivery. This post is an honest answer to the question we get on every demo call: what does it actually do, and where do you still need a human?
What it does well
- Maps a no-code project to a typed graph of pages, workflows, and data models — repeatably and quickly.
- Generates idiomatic, typed code for any of our supported target stacks: React, Next.js, Vue, Node, Python, Flutter.
- Writes the first pass of every test, including realistic fixtures derived from the source app's schema.
- Maintains a clean git history with conventional commits and sensible PR boundaries — every step is replayable.
- Produces a 1-page architecture decision record (ADR) for every non-obvious choice it made.
Where humans still win
Three categories: judgement calls about the target stack, security review, and customer-specific business rules that aren't visible in the no-code app's metadata. Codify Yo never ships unsupervised — every PR it opens is reviewed by a senior engineer before it lands in your repo. That's the rule, not a gesture.
